雖然之後 Irving 仍在完成了罰球之後，才前往更衣室接受觀察和治療，但比賽進行到第三節時，獨行俠官方仍宣布， Irving 因為左腳受傷提前退出本場比賽。
當時曾有消息指出 Irving 賽後是被輪椅載出場接受治療，但之後證實是錯誤資訊，因為獨行俠後衛 Tim Hardaway Jr. 聲稱前者在更衣室等待隊友回歸。
