而本週推特上突然有人釋出 Josh Giddey 與一名 16 歲女高中生的親密合照，另外還附上了與女學生哥哥對話的截圖影片，引起全球網友熱烈討論。據悉該事件會爆發，「疑似」為那名少女在與 Josh Giddey 發生親密行為後，Po 出合照在網路炫耀，才使有人注意到這一違法情節。

NBA 展開調查 Josh Giddey
今日 Josh Giddey 在隊內練習完後，也親上火線接受媒體訪問，不過儘管不避諱談論該事件，但他卻也不多做回應說道：「我知道大家都想問這問題，但現在我真的沒什麼好說的，目前我不會有進一步發言。」另外，總教練 Mark Daigneault 也表示不評論球員私事。
根據 NBA 發言人的證實，聯盟內部已經開啟對於 Josh Giddey 的調查，因過去美國體育界也有類似案件發生，不少球迷也擔心 Josh Giddey 恐面臨刑責，職業生涯會就此報銷。
