根據ESPN名記 Adrian Wojnarowski 的報導，巴黎奧運美國男籃的「復仇者聯盟」中的 11 人已經確定了，包括「詹皇」 LeBron Jaemes 、「KD」Kevin Durant 和「萌神」 Stephen Curry ，至於剩下那個最後一人名單，答案也已經呼之欲出，正是洛杉磯快艇「機器人」 Kawhi Leonard 。

根據 Adrian Wojnarowski 的報導，目前巴黎奧運美國隊 12人 名單中已確定的 11 人包括：LeBron James（湖人）、Kevin Durant（太陽）、Stephen Curry（勇士）、Joel Embiid（76人）、Jayson Tatum（塞爾提克）、Devin Booker（太陽）、Jrue Holiday（塞爾提克）、Anthony Davis（湖人）、Anthony Edwards（灰狼）、Bam Adebayo（熱火）、Tyrese Haliburton（溜馬）。
LeBron James、Stephen Curry、Kevin Durant 三大球星領銜，再加上一群 NBA 頂級好手，知名後衛 Patrick Beverley 直接發文表示：「美國隊加油。這可能是組合起來最偉大的球隊了。」

James 過去已經幫助美國男籃贏得 2 面奧運金牌，而 KD 則擁有 3 面金牌，這也將是 39 歲的詹皇、36歲的 Curry 、35歲的 Durant 三人最後一次代表國家隊出戰國際大賽，是他們在夢幻隊的「最後一舞」。
而稍早根據情報指出，美國隊最後第 12 人確定為 Kawhi Leonard，讓許多球迷直呼：「連替補也強到爆！」
